Split System Air Con Installation Woodlands

Woodlands has been one of Perth’s quietly sought-after inner suburbs for decades, and between original family homes and newer architect-designed rebuilds, we’ve fitted split systems into just about every style of house this leafy pocket has to offer.

Local Air Con Experts in Woodlands (6018)

Woodlands sits around 7km from the Perth CBD in the City of Stirling, close to Subiaco and the Fremantle train line, with Jackadder Lake and Herdsman Lake nearby. Development started in the 1960s, and a lot of the suburb’s character comes from that era, tree-lined streets named after timber varieties, generous blocks, and original brick homes on quarter-acre lots. What makes Woodlands different from a lot of neighbouring suburbs is how much of that original housing stock has since been renovated or rebuilt, it’s a suburb where you’ll find a 1960s brick home next door to a newer architecturally designed rebuild, often on the same street.

That mix means no two Woodlands jobs look the same. We might be fitting a system into an original brick home that’s never had one, or working with a builder or homeowner on a full renovation where the split system needs to integrate cleanly with a modern fitout. Either way, we size and position for the actual home in front of us.

Split System Supply & Installation in Woodlands

A good share of our work in Woodlands comes from renovations and extensions, home owners upgrading an original 1960s property and wanting the cooling sorted properly as part of the build, rather than bolting on whatever was there before. We also do straightforward replacements for older units that have reached the end of their life, and new installs for homes that have gone without air con for years on the strength of Woodlands’ leafy, well-treed streets keeping things cooler than more exposed suburbs.

Given the higher standard of finish in a lot of Woodlands homes, we take extra care with placement and cable runs so the install looks as good as the rest of the house, not just functions well.

Why choose

Air-Cond Installs WA

Renovated and architect-designed homes need a more considered approach than a standard install, bracket position, cable concealment and unit selection all matter more when the rest of the house has been finished to a high standard. Wayne and Glen have been installing across Perth’s inner and northern suburbs since 1997 and know how to get a clean result whether it’s an original 1960s home or a newly renovated one. They’re on every job personally, quote honestly, and leave the site spotless. ARCtick certified (AU 09491).

Brands

For Woodlands we regularly recommend Daikin and Mitsubishi, both known for quiet running and clean unit design, which suits homes where the aesthetic matters as much as the performance. Panasonic is a solid choice for straightforward replacements in original homes. We also supply and install Toshiba, Fujitsu, ActronAir and Carrier, and can talk you through which brand fits your specific home and finish.

    Air Con Installation Woodlands

    Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we regularly work on original 1960s and 70s brick homes throughout Woodlands, including ones that have never had a split system installed before.

Yes, we work with homeowners and builders on renovation projects, timing the install to fit your build schedule and making sure the system integrates cleanly with the finished space.

We take extra care with bracket position and cable concealment, particularly on renovated or higher-finish homes, so the install looks tidy and doesn’t stand out.

It varies more here than in newer, uniform estates given the mix of original and renovated homes. We measure each room individually rather than applying a standard size across the board.

Both options work. We supply and install leading brands including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Panasonic and Toshiba, or we can carry out an install-only service on a unit you’ve purchased elsewhere, provided it meets Australian standards.
