Local Air Con Experts in Scarborough (6019)

Scarborough has undergone a genuine transformation over the past decade. The foreshore redevelopment has brought new life to the beachfront precinct, and the suburb now has one of the most varied property mixes of anywhere on Perth’s northern coast, high-rise and mid-rise apartments along the Esplanade, older brick homes on the quieter residential streets inland, renovated character properties, and newer townhouse developments in between.

That variety is something we navigate every week. Apartment installations come with their own set of considerations. Outdoor unit placement on balconies or rooftops, longer pipe runs through strata-managed buildings, and working within body corporate requirements. Brick homes bring their own challenges. We’ve done it all across Scarborough since 1997 and know what each property type demands.

Why choose

Air-Cond Installs WA

Scarborough’s mix of property types means experience matters. Fitting a split system into an apartment with specific body corporate rules, or routing pipes neatly through an older double-brick home, takes know-how that only comes from years of doing it. Wayne and Glen have been at this since 1997 and have worked in every kind of Scarborough property. As a family business they’re not sending out subcontractors, they show up themselves, take care with your home, and leave it clean. ARCtick certified (AU 09491), upfront pricing, and honest advice on what you actually need rather than what’s easiest to sell.

    Air Con Installation Scarborough

    Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, and it’s something we do regularly in Scarborough. Apartment installs require careful planning around outdoor unit placement, pipe routing, and in strata buildings, we work within body corporate guidelines. We’re experienced with all of it, just let us know your situation when you enquire.

Absolutely. A good portion of Scarborough’s residential streets are lined with double-brick homes from the 1970s and 80s. Wall penetrations in double-brick take more care than framed walls, but it’s well within our experience. We’ll discuss the planned approach with you before starting.

Salt-laden air is harder on outdoor units than inland environments, particularly for properties very close to the water. We can recommend models with corrosion-resistant coatings that are better suited to coastal conditions. It’s worth discussing when we come out to quote.

It depends on the floor plan and which direction the apartment faces. North or west-facing apartments on upper floors can get very warm and may need a larger capacity unit than you’d expect. We’ll factor in orientation, glazing, and ceiling height when making our recommendation.

Scarborough is well within our regular service area, so we can usually schedule installation promptly after quoting. Lead times can extend during peak summer demand, so it’s worth getting in touch before the hot weather hits.
