Local Air Con Experts in Greenwood (6024)

We’ve installed split systems throughout Greenwood for years and understand the construction styles that are typical here. The brick-and-tile homes common in the suburb generally have good roof cavity access, which keeps installations clean and straightforward. Many homes also feature the kind of internal layout — separate bedrooms down a hallway, a distinct living area at the front — that lends itself well to a targeted split system approach, rather than trying to cool the whole house at once. Whether you’re after a single unit for the master bedroom, a system for the main living area, or a multi-unit installation throughout the home, we’ll tailor our recommendation to suit your property and your budget.

Split System Supply & Installation in Greenwood

We provide a complete supply and installation service, managing the entire process from brand selection through to a finished, clean installation. There’s no need to research units independently or coordinate multiple trades — we take care of everything.

For Greenwood’s typical brick-and-tile homes, we pay particular attention to indoor head placement and pipe routing to ensure the result looks tidy and performs efficiently. We’ll assess your rooms, ceiling heights, and insulation, and recommend the right system capacity to keep each space genuinely comfortable — not just technically within range. We supply and install all leading brands including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Fujitsu, and Toshiba.

Why choose

Air-Cond Installs WA

Greenwood is a suburb we know well and return to consistently. Its predominantly 1970s–80s housing stock means we regularly work with homes that have existing evaporative systems, ageing electrical switchboards, and roof cavities that need a careful eye before installation — all things we factor in during the quoting process, not on the day. As a family business operated directly by Wayne and Glen, you deal with us from the first phone call through to the final test of your new system.

    Air Con Installation Greenwood

    Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we service all residential streets within Greenwood (postcode 6024). We also cover the surrounding suburbs of Warwick, Duncraig, Kingsley, Madeley, and Craigie.

This is one of the most common questions we get from Greenwood homeowners. Evaporative cooling loses effectiveness on humid days and during Perth’s increasingly unpredictable summers, and running costs can be high. Many Greenwood residents choose to keep their evaporative system for mild days and install a split system in the master bedroom and main living area for the days when they need reliable, humidity-controlled cooling. Others opt to remove the evaporative unit entirely and go fully refrigerated. We can talk through both options and help you decide what makes the most sense for your home and usage habits.

Standard bedrooms in Greenwood homes generally suit a 2.5kW unit. Master bedrooms, which tend to be larger in the older homes common in the suburb, often need a 3.5kW. The separate lounge and dining rooms typical of 1970s–80s floor plans vary considerably in size — most need a 5–7kW system, though we’ll calculate the right capacity based on your specific room dimensions, ceiling height, and window orientation.

Yes. We offer a removal and disposal service for existing air conditioning units, including evaporative systems. This can be arranged as part of the same job, saving you from having to organise a separate tradie. See our air conditioning removal and disposal page for details.
